Your Role



We are seeking a skilled SQL Report Developer with expertise in SQL and SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS) to join The Hillbrush Company on a

6-month contract

. You will design, develop, and deliver reports and dashboards to support data-driven decisions in manufacturing, sales, and compliance. This role offers a unique opportunity to make an immediate impact in a globally respected company while working with cutting-edge data tools.

Key Responsibilities



Design, develop, and deploy SSRS reports and dashboards to meet business requirements, ensuring accuracy, usability, and performance Write and optimize complex SQL queries, stored procedures, and views for data extraction and transformation from ERP systems and databases Collaborate with stakeholders in sales, production, and quality assurance to deliver reports on key metrics Enhance existing reports for improved performance, scalability, and data accuracy Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to data integrity and report functionality Document reports, data models, and processes to ensure clarity and compliance Support data governance initiatives, including data quality and security protocols Recommend improvements based on SQL, SSRS, and BI best practices.

Skills & Experience



2+ years of experience in SQL development, including complex queries, joins, and performance optimization Strong proficiency in SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS), with hands-on experience in report design, parameterization, and deployment Experience building intuitive dashboards and visualizations Familiarity with relational databases (e.g., SQL Server) and basic ETL concepts Ability to translate business needs into technical solutions Strong communication skills to engage with non-technical stakeholders Desirable: Knowledge of Manufacturing ERP systems Proactive, detail-oriented, and able to work independently in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications



Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Analytics, or equivalent professional experience Certifications in SQL, SSRS, or BI tools are advantageous.

Working Hours and Location



This role is based at our site in Mere, Wiltshire, working Monday to Thursday 08:30 - 17:15 and Fridays 08:30 - 16:15, including a 45-minute lunch break. 39 hours per week.

Salary and Benefits



Salary - 35,000 per annum (pro-rata for 6-month contract, equivalent to 17,500 for the contract term) Benefits include: Free on-site parking Access to our on-site gym Death-in-service insurance 23 days holiday plus bank holidays, (pro rata for contract duration)
