Express Recruitment are currently working in partnership with one of Nottingham\'s largest and most reputable employers. Our client is looking for a SQL Reporting Subject Matter Expert to join their team on a fixed term basis until July 2024.

The successful candidate will support the HR team with the final preparations for an ongoing HR system implementation and transformation project due to go-live in Summer 2024. In return, you can expect to receive a pro rata salary of between c\xc2\xa344,000 to \xc2\xa356,000.

Due to the urgency of this role, applicants must be available to start the position by October 2023.

Roles & Responsibilities

• Develop SQL and Power BI reports to create custom data sources and perform advanced analytics
• Work closely with internal stakeholders to gather requirements for the HR and project workstream
• Advise on most appropriate and available reporting tools for remainder of project
• Coordinate and report workstream requirements, ensuring these are obtained in line with project timeline
• Utilise a variety of data and reporting tools, including in-system Oracle tools, SQL, and Power BI for each report
• Advise on solutions to project roadblocks, suggesting new business processes as required

Skills & Experience

• Previous experience working within a similar role, personally developing SQL and BI reports, essential
• Demonstrable experience utilising data, reporting, and publishing tools such as SQL, Power BI and Oracle\'s OTBI and BIP
• Experience utilising and working with internal HR systems
• Ability to work within a fast-paced and deadline driven environment
• Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail
