About the Role



We're looking for a detail-driven, self motivated Senior Business Accountant to join our Finance team and play a key role in supporting the core finance operations. This role is instrumental in contributing to the company's growth by maintaining accurate management and financial reporting, cashflow analysis, cost control and oversight. You'll work closely with both the Financial Controller and the CFO, in maintaining and improving existing processes and systems, as well as providing support on Group audits and projects. Key Responsibilities



Ownership of the month-end process, including journals, accruals, prepayments, and balance sheet reconciliations. Help evolve financial systems and processes, using Rillet as the core accounting platform, Ramp and Upflow as the core AP and AR platforms respectively. Apply a hands-on approach to cash management through the ownership of the AR and AP functions. Maintain clear documentation and uphold robust controls, in order to provide support through the annual audit process. Assist in reporting and financial modelling for lender, board and investor updates. Ownership of the global payroll process, as well as business partnering with our People team on pension and other benefits related matters. Get involved in ad hoc finance projects tied to commercial and operational strategy.

Qualifications



Fully Qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent)

5+ years

of industry experience (preferably in the technology or SaaS industries) in accounting roles with increasing responsibility. Advanced

Excel / Google Sheets

financial modeling skills; experience working with different accounting platforms and AR/AP management tools. Demonstrated ability to balance precision and speed, with strong ownership over deliverables. Highly motivated and ambitious individual, who likes working in a fast-paced setting and is able to multitask and prioritize effectively.
