Darparu cymorth gofal plant hyblyg o ansawdd uchel fel rhan o dim, gan gwmpasu absenoldebau staff neu gefnogi yn ystod cyfnodau prysur. Byddwch yn sicrhau amgylchedd diogel, ysgogol a maethlon lle gall plant ddysgu, chwarae a ffynnu.

Cyfrifoldebau Allweddol

Goruchwylio a gweithio a phlant [2-5 oed] mewn amgylchedd diogel a gofalgar. Cynorthwyo i gynllunio a chyflwyno gweithgareddau a phrofiadau dysgu sy'n briodol i oedran. Cefnogi datblygiad emosiynol, corfforol a chymdeithasol plant yn unol a'r cwricwlwm newydd. Cynnal safonau uchel o hylendid, iechyd a diogelwch bob amser. Adeiladu perthnasoedd cadarnhaol gyda phlant, rhieni, a staff. Dilynwch bolisiau a gweithdrefnau meithrinfeydd, gan gynnwys diogelu, cyfrinachedd a rheoli ymddygiad. Sicrhau bod yr amgylchedd yn lan, wedi'i drefnu'n dda, ac yn cael ei risg asesu

Job Purpose

To provide high-quality, flexible childcare support as part of a team, covering staff absences or supporting during busy periods. You will ensure a safe, stimulating, and nurturing environment where children can learn, play, and thrive.

Key Responsibilities

Supervise and engage with children aged [2-5 years] in a safe and caring environment. Assist in planning and delivering age-appropriate activities and learning experiences. Support children's emotional, physical, and social development in line with the new curriculum. Maintain high standards of hygiene, health, and safety at all times. Build positive relationships with children, parents, and staff. Follow nursery policies and procedures, including safeguarding, confidentiality, and behaviour management. Ensure the environment is clean, well-organised, and risk-assessed.

Requirements

Essential:

The ability to speak Welsh Previous experience working with children in a childcare or nursery setting Understanding of child development Flexible and reliable approach to work A caring, patient, and enthusiastic manner Ability to work well as part of a team

Desirable:

Level 2 or 3 qualification in Early Years or equivalent Paediatric First Aid certification Knowledge of safeguarding procedures

Additional Information

This is a casual role; hours are not guaranteed and depend on the needs of the setting. Successful candidates will be required to undergo an enhanced DBS check. Ongoing training and development opportunities are provided.
Pay: 12.21 per hour
