Police Staff Vacancy

Based at Penrith HQ

Are you an experienced payroll professional looking to join a payroll team that provides accurate, compliant and timely payroll services to an organisation that delivers vital services to your local community?

We are looking to recruit an Employee Services Team Leader to join the Central Services Department. We have an 18.5 hours per week permanent vacancy and 18.5 hours per week temporary vacancy (until November 2026).

You will be a key member of the Management Team and will be responsible for supporting the end-to-end payroll service, ensuring accuracy, compliance and building strong relationships with internal and external clients.

This is a hands-on position that combines leadership with technical expertise. You will be expected to supervise and develop a team of staff, monitor, and manage performance, whilst reviewing, and making the best use of systems and processes.

What We're Looking For:

Proven experience within payroll or HR environment Strong understanding of end-to-end payroll processes Excellent communication and presentation skills Confident, proactive, and highly organised with a hands-on approach Natural leader with the ability to mentor and motivate a team.
