We are excited to provide an exceptional opportunity for a talented and ambitious RGN to join our small, dynamic team. Vision Scotland is a high-volume day-case theatre cases every week. Cataracts, Refractive Lens Exchange, Laser eye surgery, Cross Linking, Blephs and other eyelid surgeries. We work hard but we also value a healthy work / home balance. There are no overnight shifts and no last-minute call outs required.
This diverse and rewarding appointment includes pre/ post-surgery nursing and some help with theatre stock ordering. You will work closely with a team of surgeons, optometrists, and admin staff. We pride ourselves on having a team completely focused on patient care. Every member of our team is positive, proactive, professional, and astute. Ophthalmic experience is obviously a significant advantage. Your experience may be in pre / post ophthalmic surgery nursing or as a theatre scrub nurse. We are happy to train the candidate with the right mindset and all the skills needed to excel.
Bank position with shifts that may include evenings, weekends, and holidays. In addition to your hourly rate you will receive a holiday pay supplement of 12.07%.
