The Role



We are currently seeking a talented and dedicated Nurse to join our dynamic team. As an essential member of our care home team, your work will be closely aligned with our team of nurses, Manager, team leader and senior care staff to ensure the highest standard of person-centered care is always provided.

Key responsibilities will encompass:

Conducting initial assessments of service users Ongoing care plan reviews and risk assessments Observing care staff and ensuring their competency Managing clinical paperwork, including Medication Administration Records (MARs), and assisting with audits and ensuring that quality care is always being provided to our service users. Providing general clinical oversight of the home and service users during your shift. Providing direct care to service users to maintain hands-on clinical skills. Contributing to the operational aspects of the division, including business development and liaison with commissioners. Assisting the home deal with outside partners and organisations overseeing and monitoring the home such as CIW, social services, LHB, safeguarding, families and visitors to the home.

Essential Requirements



Registered Nurse with an active NMC pin Minimum of 1-year nursing practice. Experience within a care home or similar setting is desirable. Proven experience in a leadership or supervisory role. Strong clinical skills and knowledge. Full UK driving license and right to work in the UK.

Desirable Nursing Skills



Proficiency in PEG feeding Competency in oxygen administration Ability to use and care for residents with catheter care requirements Familiarity with suction procedures Experience with nebulizer treatments Ability to manage and support individuals during seizures. Knowledge of gastrostomy care Ensuring adherence to care plans and promptly escalating any changes to appropriate persons Competent use of complex care equipment and execution of complex care procedures
