We are looking for an enthusiastic, experienced, and motivated registered nurses for this exciting opportunity to join our caring and compassionate team.
The successful candidate must have a keen interest in working with older people, be able to demonstrate excellent communication skills and be active in developing and enhancing your current skills. As a valued team member, you will be expected to support other staff members on the ward and have a desire to deliver high standards of nursing care.
The ideal candidate will be friendly, empathetic, and patient with a keen desire to ensure that the care delivered is if the best quality standard.
This is an ideal opportunity for both newly qualified and registered nurses who have a passion for caring for Elderly patients. Preceptorship available for newly qualified candidates.

The successful candidate will be a professional and promote the highest possible standard of care to their patients. You will provide physical, emotional and psychological support to enable patients to achieve their goals, optimise levels of independence and ensure a safe discharge from hospital.
The role requires you to accept professional accountability for patients when assessing, planning and implementing their care plans ensuring person centred care is delivered. Alongside the nursing team, you will owrk alongside doctors, therapists and other multipdisciplinary members in developing and maintaining patient safety and ensuring a positive hospital experience.
The successful candidate will be supported and encouraged with training and development.

KEY AREAS OF WORK
Maintain a high standard of nursing care for acutely ill patients in accordance with Airedale Hospital Trust's guidelines and protocols.
Develop good working relationships with nursing colleagues and members of the multi-disciplinary team.
Contribute towards the development of clinical practice by participating in practice, and self development programmes on the unit.
Adheres to Airedale General Hospital Trust's policies and procedures relating to health and safety.
