Join our NICU Team as a Staff Nurse



We are excited to invite a compassionate and dedicated Staff Nurse to join our dynamic Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) team. This is a great opportunity to make a meaningful impact in neonatal nursing, working within one of the most respected NICUs in the South West.

You'll be joining a highly skilled and experienced multidisciplinary team (MDT), comprising nurses, nursery nurses, medics, consultants, and allied healthcare professionals. Assess, plan, deliver and evaluate prescribed treatment and care for patients and their families



Communicate effectively and maintain confidentiality with patient's carers and the multi disciplinary team



Act as a professional role model setting standards of practice



Promote clinical effectiveness and opportunities for teaching junior colleagues and students



Promote and maintain a safe environment for patients.



Administer medicines in accordance with Trust policy.



Develop clinical skills and participate in continuous professional development



Provide accurate timely contemporary records of care and treatment in line with Trust record keeping policy and NM

Excellent training and development opportunities. The QIS (Qualified in Specialty) course is delivered in the Southwest by the SouthWest Neonatal Network.



Newborn Individualized Developmental Care and Assessment Program (NIDCAP) trained nurses who are part of the Family and Infant Neurodevelopmental Education (FINE) faculty, providing FINE training to the multi-disciplinary team.



Support from our in-house Education team and SIM training



Phillips ICCA system for all monitoring, prescribing and documentation.
