To work as the key nurse, ensuring the delivery of a high standard of familycentred assessment and treatment plans as agreed with the multidisciplinaryteam on a day-to-day basis through participation in and the provision of, aspects of a wide range of therapeutic approaches and activities within the inpatient andcommunity setting.To support the day-to-day organisational planning and operational managementof aspects of the Unit, including managing ad hoc shifts or defined areas of ashift as requested by the senior nurse.Main duties of the jobUsing a range of clinical skills, to assist and at times autonomously lead onassessment and treatment care needs, within a risk assessment frameworkfor children and their families admitted to the Unit.To assist in the planning, implementation and evaluation of family centrednursing care and management plans as agreed with the core team.To support the delivery of a range of daily individual and group structures topromote the therapeutic milieu of the Unit.
