Stairlift Surveyor & Installation Engineer

Location:

Cheltenham / Gloucester & surrounding areas

Hours:

Full-Time | Permanent | 9:00am - 5:00pm | 5 days over 6 (rota)

Salary:

29,250 starting salary, rising to 32,250 after training (approx. 6 months)

On-Target Earnings:

OTE ~45,000 per year including bonus

We're looking for a friendly, practical, and customer-focused Stairlift Surveyor & Installation Engineer to join our growing team in the Cheltenham and Gloucester area.

No prior stairlift experience is required - comprehensive training is provided. If you have a mechanical, electrical, or technical background, we'll support you in developing the skills needed to succeed in this rewarding role.

What You'll Do:

Visit customers' homes to survey and recommend stairlift solutions Install both straight and curved stairlifts (standard and bespoke) Carry out maintenance, servicing, and repairs Manage stock, check deliveries, and handle equipment Take part in an out-of-hours call-out rota (with additional bonus)

What We're Looking For:

Strong communication and customer service skills A hands-on approach and willingness to learn new technology Good organisational and problem-solving abilities Physically capable of handling heavy items A full UK driving licence is essential Compassionate attitude--many of our customers are elderly or vulnerable An enhanced DBS check (paid for by Ableworld UK)
