Are you a dynamic communicator and relationship-builder with a passion for Fire safety and community engagement?Southern Housing's Building Safety Regulatory Change Team is looking for a visionary Stakeholder Manager to champion collaboration and lead impactful engagement!


Working alongside the Head of Regulatory Change, you'll take the reins in cultivating and maintaining professional relationships with residents as well as key internal and external stakeholders. From residents to government bodies and industry professionals, you'll be at the heart of leading the implementation, continuous improvement and delivery of the Building Safety Resident Engagement Strategy.


What you'll be doing:




Being the responsible person for the design and implementation of Southern's Building Safety Resident Engagement Strategy and support stakeholder management activities associated with the Building Safety Transformation Programme. Collaborating with Project Leads and Heads of Service to design and deliver internal building safety communications and events, fostering a culture of safety awareness across the organisation. Planning and executing engaging, building-specific events like town halls, focus groups, and community forums to strengthen the journey of our residents and enhance asset life. Embedding and monitoring effectiveness of stakeholder engagement methods, supported by processes and KPIs. Proactive monitoring of external political, regulatory and industry developments in the built environment to inform knowledge share and stakeholder management.

What you'll need




Demonstrated ability to develop and implement resident engagement strategies, especially for building safety, fire safety or other safety initiatives. Experience in stakeholder engagement and project management in housing, building safety or public sector programmes. Excellent written content development skills: presentations, case studies, social media postings Knowledge of building safety legislation and best practice in relation to resident involvement. Strong communication skills with the ability to translate technical content into clear digestible messaging for diverse audiences. Professional qualification in communications, housing or construction is desirable Experience with resident engagement in high rise or complex buildings is desirable
