We are looking to recruit a

Standards Manager - Partnerships,

to join our Quality Assurance & Academic Standards Department either on a hybrid basis (working from one of our UK campuses and remotely) or completely remotely.


Please note that this is a full-time, permanent position.

Standards Manager - Partnerships

,you will be managing academic partnership arrangements to ensure that the University remains compliant with all regulatory requirements, both local and international as appropriate.


As our Standards Manager - Partnerships, you will:




Co-ordinate academic partnership-related matters in accordance with higher education statutory, regulatory and/or government requirements. To satisfy external monitoring and monitoring requirements of regulatory bodies/agencies in the UK and overseas Work with colleagues to facilitate the development of new academic partnerships and collaborative arrangements Liaise with colleagues to ensure that quality and standards assurance policies relating to academic partnership and collaborations are in place and updated routinely. Co-ordinate and, where appropriate, prepare reports to the Academic Board and its committees to ensure appropriate governance oversight of academic partnership activities Ensure that there is appropriate governance of partner and collaborative arrangements proposed or entered into by the University, working with colleagues to facilitate robust regulating, escalating issues as necessary

We are looking for people who are/have:




Experience of quality and standards assurance and enhancement in Higher Education Experience of reviewing and implementing policies and/or regulations, working within regulatory frameworks and liaising with external bodies in the context of regulatory requirements Ability to prioritise and manage your own workload amid conflicting demands and busy work periods Experience of preparing and submitting documents to external bodies A proactive approach to gathering information and acting upon it Highly organised
