Overview

We are seeking a skilled worker to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess experience in the construction of steel frame agricultural and commercial buildings. Ranging from the erection of steel frames and construction of cladding and roofing

Responsibilities

Fabricate and assemble metal structures according to specifications and blueprints. Cut and install cladding and roofing Utilise hand tools and power tools effectively for cutting, shaping, and installing Conduct inspections of completed work to ensure adherence to safety regulations and quality standards. Collaborate with team members to complete projects efficiently and within deadlines. Maintain a clean and organised work environment, ensuring tools and materials are stored properly. Apply basic maths skills for measurements and calculations necessary for project execution. Work with sheet metal as required for specific projects.

Requirements

Proven experience as a steel erector or in a similar role within the construction industry. Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications. Experience in the use of cherry pickers and telehandlers. ipaf 3a 3b Proficient in cladding Experience using hand tools and power tools safely and effectively. Basic maths skills for accurate measurements and calculations. Ability to work at heights and in various weather conditions while adhering to safety protocols. Strong attention to detail with a commitment to producing high-quality work. Excellent teamwork skills with the ability to communicate effectively on-site. Clean driving licence.
We primarily will be working in and around Essex Suffolk and Norfolk with the occasional potential of a stay away further a field

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: 13.40-20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 - 50 per week
