for a major long-term civil engineering project based in
Irvine, Scotland
. This is an excellent opportunity to secure consistent work with a well-established contractor.
Key Responsibilities:
Erecting and assembling structural steel in line with technical drawings and specifications
Carrying out welding tasks, primarily using stick welding techniques
Using a variety of hand and power tools for cutting, shaping, and joining metal components
Ensuring all work meets quality standards and complies with site health and safety procedures
Inspecting completed structures to verify accuracy and stability
Requirements:
Valid CSCS card
Proven experience in steel erection or a similar role
Confident in reading and interpreting technical drawings
Skilled in welding and metal fabrication techniques
Physically fit
and comfortable working on-site in a manual role
Willing to comply with
random drug and alcohol testing
as part of site policy
