Job Overview:
We are currently seeking a skilled Fabricator to join our team. The Fabricator will be responsible for welding and fabricating metal components to assemble structural forms according to engineering drawings and specifications.
Duties:
- Operate power tools and hand tools to cut, shape, weld, and fabricate metal components
- Perform stick welding and other welding techniques to join metal parts
- Read and interpret engineering drawings and blueprints
- Assemble fabricated metal parts using mechanical knowledge
- Conduct quality checks on finished products to ensure they meet specifications
- Work with sheet metal to create various structures
Qualifications:
- Proficient in welding techniques and processes
- Ability to operate power tools and hand tools effectively
- Basic maths skills for measurements and calculations
- Experience in fabricating metal components
- Knowledge of stick welding methods
- Mechanical knowledge for assembling metal parts
- Familiarity with working with sheet metal
