We are currently seeking skilled and reliable Steel Fabricators to join our

night shift team

at our Falkirk site. You'll be working on a wide range of fabrication projects in a fast-paced, well-equipped workshop.

Overview


We are seeking a skilled Fabricator to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in various fabrication processes and be comfortable working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This role requires proficiency in welding, blueprint reading, and the use of hand and power tools. The Fabricator will play a crucial role in the production of high-quality components, ensuring adherence to industry standards and specifications.

Duties



Interpret blueprints and schematics to fabricate components according to specifications. Utilize various welding techniques including MIG, TIG, FCAW, and Stick welding for metal assembly. Operate fabrication machinery such as press brake machines and plasma cutters. Measure and cut materials using calipers, micrometers, and basic math skills to ensure precision. Assemble components using hand tools, power tools, and mechanical knowledge. Perform pipe threading and ductwork fabrication as required. Conduct rigging operations safely while moving heavy materials or components. Maintain a clean and organized work area while adhering to safety protocols. Collaborate with team members to meet production deadlines and quality standards.

Experience



Proven experience in a fabrication role within a manufacturing or construction environment is preferred. Familiarity with ASME codes & standards is advantageous. Experience operating cranes and forklifts is a plus. Knowledge of machining processes and soldering techniques is beneficial. Strong understanding of mechanical systems and assembly processes. Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
