Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Fabricator/Welder to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in welding and fabrication, with the ability to work with various materials, particularly RSJ. This role requires mechanical knowledge and proficiency in using hand and power tools to assemble components and create high-quality products.

Responsibilities

Fabricate and assemble metal components according to specifications and drawings. Perform welding tasks using mug welding techniques and other methods as required. Utilise hand tools and power tools effectively to shape, cut, and join materials. Conduct quality checks on finished products to ensure they meet industry standards. Interpret technical drawings and blueprints to accurately complete projects. Maintain a clean and safe working environment, adhering to health and safety regulations. Collaborate with team members to improve processes and enhance productivity.

Requirements

Proven experience in welding and fabrication, Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment. Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot issues as they arise. Basic maths skills for measurements and calculations related to fabrication tasks. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team. Attention to detail with a commitment to producing high-quality work. A valid welding certification is preferred but not essential.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: 12.21-16.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 - 60 per week
