Job Description

We are looking for an

EXPERIENCED

fabricator/welder to join our team in Sittingbourne. Must be fully skilled in the fabrication of structural steel and architectural metal work fabricating balcony stacks, balustrades, juliettes, railings, staircases etc...

Responsibilities:
- Weld and fabricate metal components according to technical drawings and instructions
- Assemble and fit metal components using various welding techniques
- Cut and assemble components using factory tools and equipment
- Read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints
- Perform quality checks to ensure finished products meet specifications
- Maintain welding equipment and tools in good working condition
- Adhere to safety guidelines and maintain a clean work environment

Skills:
- Experienced in the following welding techniques: MIG welding, MMA/TIG welding
- Proficient in working with stainless and aluminium
- Ability to fabricate and assemble metal components accurately
- Basic mathematical skills for measurements and calculations
- Proficient with hand tools and power tools used in metal fabrication process
- C/B Forklift license desirable
- Good engineering knowledge
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work alone or in a team
