Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Factory Manager to oversee our manufacturing operations. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring efficient production processes, maintaining high-quality standards, and leading a team of skilled workers. This role requires strong leadership skills, a commitment to safety, and the ability to drive continuous improvement initiatives within the factory and able to work under pressure.

Responsibilities

Manage daily operations of the factory, ensuring production targets are met while maintaining quality standards. Lead, train, and mentor factory staff to foster a productive and positive work environment. Implement and monitor safety protocols to ensure compliance with health and safety regulations. Analyse production data to identify areas for improvement and implement strategies for enhanced efficiency. Coordinate with other departments such as supply chain, quality assurance, and maintenance to ensure smooth operations. Prepare reports on production performance, inventory levels, and workforce efficiency for upper management review. Oversee equipment maintenance schedules to minimise downtime and enhance productivity.

Experience

Proven experience in a managerial role within a manufacturing environment is essential. Strong understanding of production processes, quality control, and safety regulations. Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop a diverse team. Proficient in using manufacturing software and tools for data analysis and reporting. Strong problem-solving skills. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively interact with all levels of staff and management.

Pay: 17.50-18.50 per hour
