Overview

We are seeking a skilled Fitter to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in welding and fabrication, with the ability to work effectively with various materials and tools. This role is essential for ensuring that all components are assembled accurately and efficiently, contributing to the overall quality of our products.

Responsibilities

Perform TIG and Stick welding on various metal components to meet specifications. Utilise hand tools and power tools for fabrication and assembly tasks. Read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications to ensure precise assembly. Fabricate sheet metal parts according to project requirements. Conduct quality checks on finished products to ensure compliance with standards. Maintain a clean and safe working environment, adhering to health and safety regulations. Collaborate with team members to improve processes and resolve any issues that arise during production.

Skills

Proficient in TIG welding, Stick welding, and general welding techniques. Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot equipment as needed. Experience using hand tools, power tools, and fabrication equipment effectively. Basic mathematical skills for measurements and calculations related to assembly tasks. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. Attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.
