Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Steel fixer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the installation of rebar/mesh steel working to design drawings & bar bending schedule.
ideally we would like a steel fixer who is also able to make & install shuttering.
Duties
Interpret bar bending schedules and technical drawings to determine specifications and layout. Install reinforcements for concrete structures by placing steel bars or mesh. Collaborate with other construction professionals to ensure project timelines are met. Maintain a clean and safe work environment by adhering to health and safety regulations.
Requirements
Proven experience as an steel fixer role in construction. Proficient in reading technical drawings. Excellent physical fitness and stamina for manual labour tasks. Good communication skills for effective teamwork. Valid driver's licence is preferred but not mandatory.
