Position Description:
To compile comprehensive project bids for the Lionweld Kennedy Projects division for submission to prospective clients, including estimating & pricing of steelwork, metalwork, GRP, Lionweld Kennedy standard products and Installation.
Qualifications And Experience:
A strong technical and estimating background to allow interpreting of specifications, technical drawings and clients requirements to produce project bids and secure orders for the supply, manufacture and installation of steel & metalwork products.
A minimum of 5 years' experience in the tendering process.
Must be fully conversant in the knowledge and preparation of estimating practices and standards.
Responsibilities to include
:
Manage in-bound Sales enquiries and tenders, submitting bids to clients in a timely manner.
Review of project specifications and drawings to provide comprehensive projects bids that align with client's requirements & expectations. Meetings, Teams Calls or Site visits may be required to fully understand the client's requirements.
Estimating and detailed take-offs of client's drawings to allow pricing of the project, including but not limited to steelwork, metalwork, GRP, Lionweld Kennedy standard products and Installation.
Ensure all credit checks are in place and orders acknowledged as per Lionweld Kennedy Groups procedures.
Review of client's drawings and details for opportunity to increase Lionweld Kennedy Groups offering when bidding a project.
Establish working relationships with prospective clients to offer client's technical solutions and negotiation of final price and scheme when bidding a project.
Submit a monthly report of live projects being priced for internal management & outbound chasing of quotes completed awaiting to be appointed.
Ensure that all the commercial T&C's are agreed and negotiated in line with the businesses level of authority. (With the assistance of the commercial team)
