This is a fixed term appointment for 2 years
STICERD and CASE are part of the vibrant research community at LSE, bringing together scholars in Economics and related disciplines. We are seeking a Centre Manager to lead the operational, financial, and administrative functions of both centres during a period of transition. STICERD's recent fundraising successes have brought about significant growth, presenting an opportunity to evolve the current support structure to meet increased demand. The role involves close collaboration with two Centre Directors, line management of the administrative team, and strategic planning to support growth and sustainability. The postholder will need strong leadership, problem-solving skills, and the ability to navigate complexity with initiative and diplomacy. This is a rare opportunity to shape the future of two influential research centres at a pivotal moment.
The successful candidate will have:
- Experience of working at a relevant level in an administrative/business management capacity, ideally in a university environment.
- Proven line management experience.
- The ability to manage and oversee resources allocated to the Centres, including human, physical and financial.
- The ability to set and maintain standards for the Centres' support services.
- Experience of change management is desirable.
We offer an occupational pension scheme, generous annual leave, hybrid working, and excellent training and development opportunities.
