Stock & Systems Manager
to join our high-performing logistics team and help drive operational excellence across our sites.
The Role - Stock & Systems Manager
The Stock & Systems Manager will ensure accurate stock management, system alignment, and process efficiency across logistics operations. You'll be responsible for overseeing stock accuracy, supporting reporting cycles, and optimising warehouse systems through data, process improvements and training.
Responsibilities
Stock Management
Maintain accurate stock records through cycle counts and full stock takes
Investigate and resolve stock discrepancies, with root cause analysis and corrective action
Support Finance and Auditors in month/year-end reporting
Collaborate with Planning and Demand teams to model capacity across logistics sites
Manage pallet provider relationships and identify cost-saving opportunities
Contribute to the Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) process
Provide stock reporting and analysis to stakeholders
Stock Optimisation
Implement processes to manage obsolete, slow-moving, and short-dated stock
Develop and deliver stock counting systems across logistics and 3PL sites
Generate reports and analyse data to drive process improvements
Train logistics teams on stock handling and systems best practice
System Management
Act as super user for ERP and WMS systems, driving automation and improvement
Support IT with system rollouts and continuous improvement projects
Liaise with IT and vendors to troubleshoot issues and implement updates
Knowledge, Skills and Experience
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel
Experience using ERP and WMS systems is highly desirable
Strong organisational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks
Excellent attention to detail, especially in stock and data accuracy
Proactive, can-do attitude with a continuous improvement mindset
Experience in FMCG or logistics sectors is an advantage
Confident communicator with strong stakeholder engagement skills
Analytical and problem-solving skills, including root cause analysis
