We're growing our London team and looking for a reliable
Stock Assistant
to keep products moving smoothly from delivery to shop floor. You'll work across goods-in, back-of-house storage, and replenishment--keeping shelves full, stock counted, and standards high.
What You'll Do
Receive deliveries: check-in goods, verify quantities, report discrepancies
Replenish shelves and chillers; ensure accurate facing and ticketing
Rotate stock (FIFO), date-check, and manage markdowns/waste
Maintain storerooms: safe, tidy, compliant layout with clear labelling
Complete regular cycle counts and daily stock checks
Pick items for orders and support simple returns/claims
Use handheld/RF scanners and basic systems to update stock levels
Follow food safety, hygiene, and health & safety procedures (PPE provided)
Support colleagues on the shop floor during busy periods
You'll Bring
Right to work in the UK
and basic spoken English
Great attention to detail and a "get-it-done" attitude
Comfortable with manual handling (up to ~20 kg) and working in chilled areas
Punctual, reliable, and happy to work rotating shifts
Advantageous (not essential): previous stock, warehouse, retail, or catering experience; familiarity with RF scanners
