Role Overview:



Oversee inventory management and ensure efficient warehouse operations.

Roles and responsibilities include but are not limited to:



Inventory Management:



Develop and implement inventory control procedures. Monitor stock levels and manage replenishment processes to maintain optimal stock levels. Conduct regular stock audits and reconciliations to ensure accuracy. Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies and variances.

Warehouse Operations:



Coordinate with warehouse staff to ensure smooth and efficient operations. Oversee the receipt, storage, and dispatch of goods. Ensure that warehouse layout is optimized for efficient stock movement and storage. Implement and maintain warehouse safety standards.

Team Management:



Lead, train, and supervise a team of stock control and warehouse staff. Develop staff schedules and allocate tasks to ensure operational efficiency. Conduct performance evaluations and provide feedback to team members. Conduct monthly performance reviews to assess progress against targets. Adjust strategies and action plans based on performance data and feedback. Provide regular updates to senior management on key performance indicators and improvement initiatives.

Data Management and Reporting:



Maintain accurate inventory records using warehouse management systems (WMS). Generate regular reports on inventory levels, turnover rates, and other key metrics. Analyse data to identify trends and make recommendations for improvements.

Supplier Coordination:



Liaise with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of stock. Manage relationships with suppliers and resolve any issues that arise. Manage supplier conformance and UOM integrity.

Continuous Improvement:



Identify opportunities to improve inventory control processes and warehouse operations. Implement best practices and innovative solutions to enhance efficiency. Any other reasonable duties as required. Tasks may vary by site. Shift pattern: 4 days out of 7

Skills:



Bachelor's degree in logistics, supply chain management, business administration, or a related field preferred. Minimum of 3 years of experience in stock control or warehouse management. Certifications in inventory management or logistics (e.g., APICS, CILT) are a plus. Proven experience in stock control or inventory management, preferably in a warehouse setting. Strong knowledge of inventory management principles and practices. Proficiency in warehouse management systems (WMS) and other relevant software. Excellent organizational and time management skills. Strong leadership and team management abilities. Effective communication and interpersonal skills. Analytical and problem-solving skills. Attention to detail and a high level of accuracy. Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
