to oversee and coordinate all aspects of stock control within our busy warehouse. In this key position, you'll be responsible for ensuring inventory accuracy, minimizing stock variances, and leading a small team to ensure efficient stock flow and accountability.
Key Responsibilities:
Supervise day-to-day stock control operations, including receiving, storing, and dispatching inventory
Maintain accurate stock records using inventory management systems
Monitor stock levels and work with procurement to ensure stock availability
Investigate and resolve discrepancies in stock counts
Conduct regular stock takes and cycle counts
Lead and support a team of warehouse operatives
Implement and maintain stock control procedures and best practices
Report on stock movement and trends to management
Assist Goods in supervisor
Assist Goods out supervisor
Ensure compliance with health & safety and company policies
About You:
Proven experience in stock control or inventory management
Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills
Ability to lead, motivate, and develop a team
Proficient in inventory software systems & excel
Effective communication and problem-solving skills
Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
Flexible and adaptable to changing priorities
Desirable (but not essential):
Forklift license (Counterbalance or Reach)
Formal management training
Full clean driving licence
