The Jaq. Group is a fast-moving company which has experienced considerable growth over the last year. The role of Stock Controller is responsible for managing and controlling inventory levels to ensure the accurate availability of stock while minimising shortages, overstocking, and losses. The role supports efficient operations through effective inventory planning, monitoring, and reporting.
Key Tasks include:
Monitor and maintain accurate stock levels across all locations
Safely load, unload, and move goods using forklifts in accordance with workplace safety standards
Record all stock movements including receipts, issues, transfers, and returns
Conduct regular stock counts, cycle counts, and inventory audits
Investigate and resolve stock discrepancies and variances
Coordinate with procurement, warehouse, sales, and operations teams
Ensure timely replenishment of stock based on demand forecasts
Identify slow-moving, obsolete, or excess inventory and recommend actions
Ensure proper storage, labeling, and handling of stock
Maintain inventory records in ERP or inventory management systems
Prepare inventory reports and KPIs for management review
Support loss prevention and stock control policies
Ensure compliance with company procedures and safety standards
General warehouse duties
Undertake any other duties as required, that are within the competence of the post.
