Role Overview



To have responsibility for all aspects of stock integrity for Manuscript warehouse & all off site stock locations within the UK. To oversee and supervise the goods in function of the business including all appropriate Quality control checks. To assist when required preparation of customer orders within our distribution department

Duties and Responsibilities



Be responsible for the inventory integrity on site

Be part of a goods in team to ensure that inbound deliveries are managed efficiently and carry the necessary quality control checks

Manage and undertake the Perpetual Inventory checks to the frequency required

Rotate stock within a FIFO set up to reduce waste and maintain product quality

Monitor & identify damaged stock & expiry dates and the reporting of this to management team

Keep and maintain all stock areas clean, organised and compliant with H&S standards

Investigate all picking and packing stock discrepancies

Responsible to ensure that warehouse storage space is maximised efficiently

Conduct off site stock audits & manage stock levels at each of these sites

Assist in picking, packing & preparation of customer orders as required

Manage and report on all quarantine stock.

Responsible in managing stock returns from customers and defective product from our supplier base.

If trained or licensed operate Forklifts, pallet trucks or other equipment safely

Manage day-to-day workload & duties independently - proactively seek support as required

Assist with team workload & have an adaptable approach to workload and others

Other reasonable duties as required by the business

Key Skills



Previous warehouse experience is essential, with an working knowledge of logistics and supply chain processes.

Effective working independently as well as team player

Possess a high level of attention to detail.

Experienced and effective communicator

Good working knowledge of all Microsoft software.

Full UK driving licence required.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: 24,500.00-25,500.00 per year
