We're currently looking for motivated individuals to join our team at various levels within the business, based at our newly refurbished store in Nechells.

About the Role

This position is based at our

Croydon store

, where you will play a key role in managing the movement of stock. You will be responsible for processing internal orders and inter-branch transfers using our warehouse management software,

Korber

. Accuracy is essential, as you'll carry out regular cycle counts, both in the warehouse and on the shop floor, and investigate any stock discrepancies within tight deadlines to support informed decisions across store and warehouse teams.

, and we're looking for someone who is proactive, detail-oriented, and quick to learn our systems and product range. Flexibility is important--occasional shift changes and participation in out-of-hours stock counts may be required.

Key Responsibilities

Customer Service & Product Management:

Deliver excellent customer service and maintain a high standard of customer experience. Ensure products on the shop floor and in the warehouse are: Fully stocked and replenished in a timely manner. Properly rotated to reduce waste. Displayed according to company standards. Handled carefully to minimize damage. Ensure all pricing is clearly displayed, legally compliant, and current. Comply with food safety regulations related to chilled and frozen goods. Maintain cleanliness and organization in all work areas.

Stock Management & Control:

Accurately update stock information and investigate discrepancies. Report and amend shortages, damages, and incorrect stock entries. Work closely with relevant departments and store managers on stock issues. Ensure correct labelling and placement of all received stock. Carry out regular and ad-hoc physical inventory counts (PI). Resolve internal and external stock queries efficiently. Coordinate stock collection and returns from external storage facilities.

Health, Safety & Team Support:

Adhere to all health and safety procedures and report any issues immediately. Use equipment safely and responsibly to avoid injury. Assist with customer inquiries and provide support across departments as needed. Follow all food safety procedures. Support stock replenishment when requested. Undertake additional duties as directed by management.

Development:

Commit to continuous personal development and gaining broader business knowledge. Ensure stock systems and control procedures are maintained and followed to support stock accuracy.
