PURESEOUL is a fast-growing, multi-brand retailer bringing the best of Korean beauty to customers in the UK. We're on the lookout for a proactive and detail-driven
Stock Controller
to join our collaborative operations and warehouse team.
As we continue to scale across retail and D2C channels, you'll play a key role in maintaining inventory accuracy, overseeing stock flows, and driving operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities:
Implement WMS and internal systems:
Ensure that all stock movements and adjustments are accurately documented through the Warehouse Management System (WMS) and other internal tools. This includes overseeing the research and implementation management of new systems.
Conduct regular inventory checks:
Perform weekly, monthly, and ad-hoc stock audits to maintain accuracy and monitor expiry dates across both digital systems and physical stock locations.
Lead formal stocktakes:
Organise and oversee comprehensive stocktakes across the company, including data reconciliation, reporting, and resolving any stock variances.
Act as the primary contact for stock-related queries:
Provide clear communication and regular audit insights to teams across retail and HQ, addressing all stock-related questions and issues.
Manage inter-warehouse and multi-channel stock movement:
Oversee stock transfers between the warehouses and all sales channels, including supervising the shipment preparation process such as picking, packing, labelling and dispatch.
Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies:
Take ownership of identifying the root causes of stock variances and work collaboratively with retail and HQ teams to resolve them.
Collaborate with internal and external logistics teams:
Work cross-functionally with internal and external departments to ensure efficient and accurate stock movements. Such as booking in delivery slots, pick-ups etc.
Support broader logistics and operations tasks:
Contribute to general logistics and operational activities as needed, reflecting a team-oriented and hands-on work culture.
What We're Looking For:
Strong Excel skills (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUPs, data analysis, etc.).
Experience working with WMS and managing high stock volumes across multiple locations or platforms.
Background in retail, eCommerce, or logistics, ideally with both D2C and wholesale experience.
Highly organised with an eagle eye for detail -- you'll be juggling multiple moving parts.
Clear communicator and team player who can work across departments and with external stakeholders.
Comfortable in a fast-paced, ever-evolving environment and able to zoom in on details without losing sight of the big picture.
Experience with stock audits, dispatch tracking, and supply chain problem-solving is a major plus.
Important to Note:
Frequent Travel Expectations:
Due to the nature of working closely with our fulfilment team, travel to our West London warehouse will be required on a weekly basis, and occasionally on short notice. This could be for multiple days a week and for extended periods depending on the workload and situation.
Team Collaboration & Flexibility:
As part of a small and dynamic team, there will be occasional opportunities to assist with activities outside of core responsibilities, such as helping with store openings, supporting team events, or assisting with ad-hoc projects. While these tasks are optional, we really value a collaborative spirit and the willingness to step in and support each other when needed.
