? About the Role
This position is based at our
Croydon store
and plays a critical role in managing stock movement and supporting warehouse operations. You'll be responsible for processing internal orders and inter-branch transfers via our warehouse management system (Korber), while also conducting regular cycle counts across both the warehouse and shop floor.

? Key Responsibilities
Customer Service & Product Management
Provide excellent customer service and ensure a consistently high customer experience
Ensure products are:
Fully stocked and promptly replenished
Properly rotated to minimise waste
Displayed in line with company standards
Handled with care to reduce damage
Maintain clear, accurate, and legally compliant pricing
Follow food safety guidelines for chilled and frozen goods
Keep workspaces clean, tidy, and well-organised
Stock Management & Control
Maintain accurate stock records and promptly investigate discrepancies
Identify and address shortages, damages, or incorrect data entries
Collaborate with store managers and relevant departments to resolve stock issues
Ensure incoming stock is correctly labelled and stored
Conduct scheduled and ad-hoc physical inventory (PI) checks
Manage internal and external stock queries efficiently
Coordinate collection and return of stock from off-site storage as needed
Health, Safety & Team Support
Comply with all health and safety procedures and report any hazards immediately
Use equipment safely and responsibly
Support customers and assist across departments as needed
Ensure compliance with food safety standards
Assist with stock replenishment as required
Carry out any other reasonable duties as assigned by management
Personal Development
Demonstrate a commitment to continuous learning and business knowledge
Adhere to stock control procedures to maintain inventory accuracy
? Skills & Experience
Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
Experience with warehouse systems (Korber experience is a plus)
Ability to work well under pressure and adapt to shifting priorities
Excellent communication and teamwork skills
Flexible approach to working hours and tasks
