Role Overview - Based at Croydon Store
We are recruiting for a role at our Croydon branch, where you will play an essential part in supporting warehouse operations and managing stock flow.
Key tasks include processing internal orders and inter-branch transfers using our warehouse management system (Korber), performing cycle counts across both warehouse and sales floor areas, and maintaining accurate stock control and replenishment.
This is a dynamic, hands-on role suited to someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment and has strong attention to detail. Flexibility is required, as shifts may vary and occasional out-of-hours stock counts may take place.
Key ResponsibilitiesCustomer Service & Product Handling
Deliver excellent customer service and maintain a positive in-store experience
Replenish shelves promptly to ensure full and attractive displays
Rotate stock effectively to minimise waste and maintain product freshness
Ensure accurate pricing and strong presentation standards
Handle products carefully to avoid damage
Follow food safety protocols for chilled and frozen items
Keep all work areas clean, safe, and well-organised
Stock Management & Control
Maintain accurate inventory records and investigate discrepancies
Identify and resolve shortages, damages, or data issues
Work closely with store and warehouse teams to manage stock efficiently
Correctly label and store incoming goods
Carry out regular and ad-hoc physical inventory (PI) checks
Respond quickly to stock-related enquiries
Manage stock movement to and from off-site storage locations
Health, Safety & Team Support
Comply with all health and safety procedures and report any risks
Operate equipment safely and responsibly
Support customers and teammates when needed
Follow food hygiene and safety standards
Assist with replenishment and other operational duties across departments
Perform additional reasonable tasks as requested by management

Follow stock control and inventory processes consistently
Skills & Experience
Strong attention to detail and excellent organisational ability
Experience using warehouse management systems (Korber experience beneficial)
Ability to work under pressure and manage shifting priorities

Flexible, adaptable, and responsive to operational needs
