Due to continued business growth, we are recruiting a
full-time, permanent team member
to join our Croydon warehouse and stock control operations.
Position Overview
This is an active, hands-on role that plays a key part in maintaining efficient warehouse and store operations. You will support accurate stock control, product movement, and organised stockroom management.
The role is well suited to someone who is methodical, adaptable, and comfortable working in a busy, fast-paced environment. Flexibility is required to support early starts, late finishes, and periodic stock checks.
Key ResponsibilitiesCustomer & Retail Support
Replenish shelves and maintain tidy, well-presented displays
Provide professional and courteous assistance to customers
Rotate products, monitor expiry dates, and help minimise waste
Ensure labels, pricing, and signage are accurate
Handle chilled and frozen stock safely
Maintain clean, organised, and safe working areas
Stock Control & Inventory
Maintain accurate inventory records and system updates
Identify and report stock discrepancies, shortages, or damaged items
Support goods-in processing and internal stock transfers
Correctly label, organise, and store incoming stock
Carry out scheduled and ad hoc stock counts
Respond promptly to stock-related enquiries from colleagues
Use the
Korber stock management system
(training provided; prior experience desirable)
Health, Safety & Team Collaboration
Adhere to company hygiene, health, safety, and operational standards
Use equipment correctly and responsibly
Support other teams with stock requirements when needed
Help maintain a safe, organised, and efficient working environment
Undertake additional duties as required
Training & Development
Follow correct stock-handling and documentation procedures
Participate in training, coaching, and continuous improvement initiatives
Demonstrate a willingness to learn new systems, tools, and processes
Ideal Candidate Profile
We are seeking someone who:
Has strong organisational skills and excellent attention to detail
Has experience in warehouse or stock control roles (Korber experience an advantage)
Thrives in a dynamic, fast-paced environment
Communicates clearly and works well as part of a team
Is flexible with working hours, including early and late shifts
Is looking for a stable, long-term role (12+ months preferred)
Is dependable, proactive, and positive in their approach
