Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and efficient Stocker to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining inventory levels and ensuring that products are well-organised and accessible. This position requires physical stamina, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

Receive, unpack, and stock merchandise on shelves in accordance with company standards. Assist in inventory management by conducting regular stock checks and reporting discrepancies. Ensure that all products are displayed neatly and attractively to enhance customer experience. Operate forklifts and other equipment safely to move heavy items as required. Collaborate with logistics teams to facilitate efficient shipping and receiving processes. Utilise data mining techniques to analyse inventory trends and optimise stock levels. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of storage areas to ensure a safe working environment. Support category management efforts by providing insights on product performance.

Skills

Proficiency in data analysis, particularly using tools for inventory management. Strong understanding of logistics processes, including shipping and receiving operations. Ability to perform heavy lifting as required, ensuring compliance with safety standards. Experience with systems for inventory tracking is an advantage. Excellent organisational skills with a keen eye for detail. Capability to sell products effectively through engaging displays and customer interactions. Familiarity with category management principles is beneficial.
