Job Summary:
As our
Stock Controller
you will manage all Goods In and Out as well as ensuring all materials are ready and available for production when required. You will carry out the role efficiently, whilst maintaining quality and safety. This role requires a results-driven approach to optimize production processes, enhance operational performance, and uphold the highest standards of quality and compliance.
Role and Responsibilities:
Operational Management:
Ensure timely management of all component receipts to the warehouse as well as timely despatch of all Finished Goods to our Warehouse in Manchester. Ensure all paperwork is completed correctly and our IT systems updated in a timely and accurate manner.
Stock:
Manage the stock holding of our non-stock items, placing orders when required with approved suppliers. Undertake regular stock takes on all componentry and report and investigate discrepancies.
Quality Assurance:
Working with the wider team to ensure adherence to quality standards, including regulatory and company-specific requirements, to maintain product excellence.
Health & Safety Compliance:
Uphold strict safety protocols and ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations. Carry out daily Fork-Lift truck checks.
Maintain Facility Standards:
Ensure the warehouse and all areas of the production facility are kept clean and tidy. Manage the factory waste efficiently.
Our Ideal Candidate Will Have:
Proven experience working in similar role in the FMCG or food & beverage industry.
Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes, quality control, and operational best practices.
Excellent decision-making, and problem-solving skills.
Strong IT skills, being able to use our internal systems efficiently
Understanding of health & safety regulations and compliance requirements.
Fork-Lift Truck driving experience is essential.
o Essential - Counter-balance licence.
o Desirable - Flexi truck (Bendi) licence.
(Preferable) Experience working in a BRCGS certified facility.
