The Role:
We are seeking an experienced
Stock Controller
to manage and track shipping containers arriving in and across the UK. This role requires a proactive individual with a strong administrative background and excellent attention to detail.
Key Responsibilities:
Oversee the stock of shipping containers from overseas and UK-based suppliers
Accurately input and maintain stock data across systems
Monitor and manage stock levels to ensure accuracy and availability
Create and manage purchase orders and sales invoices
Run and analyse stock reports using Excel
Conduct regular stock takes and resolve discrepancies
Liaise with logistics partners, suppliers, and internal teams to coordinate container movement
General administration to support stock and operations processes
About You:
High attention to detail and accuracy
Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Outlook
Experienced in raising invoices and purchase orders
Strong data input and report-running capabilities
Previous experience in stock control, logistics, or a similar admin-heavy role
Excellent organisational and communication skills
