Stock Controller - 35,000 per annum

Are you a detail-oriented and organised individual with experience in stock control and inventory management? Join the team at Walkers Transport, a leading name in the UK logistics and storage industry, as our new Stock Controller based in Morley, Leeds.

As a Stock Controller, you'll play a key role in maintaining accurate inventory records and ensuring our storage operations run smoothly. You'll work closely with warehouse team to support the efficient flow of goods in and out of our facility.

Key Responsibilities:

Monitor and manage stock levels to ensure accuracy and availability Conduct regular stock takes and inventory audits Investigate and resolve stock discrepancies promptly Coordinate with warehouse and transport teams to track inbound and outbound stock Use warehouse management systems (WMS) to maintain accurate records Prepare reports for management on stock movements and performance

What We're Looking For:

Previous experience in a stock control or inventory role (ideally in logistics or warehousing) Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS) Excellent communication and teamwork abilities Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines IT literacy, particularly in Excel
