We are looking for:
Cammegh is now looking for
dependable and proactive Stock Controller / Warehouse Assistant
to support inventory control, production preparation, goods handling, and stock replenishment using our EFACS ERP system, while remaining flexible to assist other warehouse or production areas as needed.
The successful candidate will be a team player with positive attitude willing to learn any new skills and happy to help where necessary - if this sounds like you and you believe you have the right skills and experience then we want to hear from you.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
In a warehouse environment carrying out a variety of tasks, all of which require accuracy and attention to detail in this precision engineering environment.
Operate EFACS ERP to maintain accurate stock records, process goods-in/out, manage part issuing and kitting, and coordinate replenishment.
Handle goods?in: receive, verify, and book deliveries; report discrepancies.
Execute goods?out/dispatch: picking, packing, and issuing orders correctly and promptly.
Prepare production kits via parts issuing and kitting, ensuring readiness aligned with schedules.
Replenish and reposition stock using FIFO/FEFO logic and forecasted needs.
Conduct cycle counts and full inventory audits, reconcile variances in EFACS ERP.
Liaise with suppliers on deliveries, lead times, and discrepancies, maintaining clear communication.
Generate stock performance and inventory reports using Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook.
Operate warehouse equipment safely
Holding a valid forklift licence (e.g. counterbalance or powered pallet truck).
Perform occasional heavy lifting under health & safety guidelines.
Provide versatile support across warehouse and production functions as required.
Required Skills:
Previous experience in stock control, inventory, or warehouse support, ideally using EFACS ERP or equivalent systems.
Valid forklift licence for powered pallet truck or counterbalance.
Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel for stock reporting and data analysis.
Strong attention to detail, high accuracy in record-keeping and documentation.
Effective communication skills for supplier liaison and cross-team collaboration.
Physically capable of handling manual warehouse tasks.
Own transport required to commute to site independently.
Desirable Attributes:
Experience in manufacturing, precision engineering, or bespoke production environments.
Background in parts kitting or production issuing workflows.
Familiarity with warehouse health & safety standards.
