We are seeking a highly organised and safety-focused individual to join our team in a vital operational role. This position involves the safe handling, storage, and distribution of bovine genetics and associated products within our centralised hub, ensuring full compliance with UK, EU, and international standards.
Handling and Storage:
Picking and packing of straws for distribution within our centralised hub Safely store and manage product in compliance with UK, EU & International regulations as needed
Safety and Compliance:
Follow protocols for handling liquid nitrogen Maintain a tidy, compliant facility for Veterinary Service inspections
Inventory Management:
Real-time tracking of stock movements and current levels Conduct annual stock audits Reconcile incoming stock with packing notes
Documentation and Tracking:
Maintain accurate records and databases Digitally track tank movements and monitor Sub-Centre inventory
Logistics and Distribution:
Deliver semen, liquid nitrogen, and consumables to Sub-Centres and farms Record high-value items such as flasks and consumables
Operational Support:
Cover lab and processing roles during absences Support farm delivery services when needed
Qualifications and Skills:
Excellent attention to detail Strong organisational and record-keeping abilities Commitment to safety and protocol compliance Flexibility to adapt to various tasks Full driving licence
