Job Overview


We're looking for a

proactive and reliable Stock & Logistics Coordinator

to join our busy operations team. This hands-on role supports the smooth running of stock control, logistics, and yard operations. You'll play a key part in maintaining accurate stock systems, coordinating movements, and ensuring the safe and efficient flow of materials across site.

Key Responsibilities



Support and deputise for the Stock & Logistics Supervisor, maintaining accurate stock records and systems. Carry out data entry and maintain both physical and digital storage systems, including despatch paperwork. Update trackers and assist with booking collections and deliveries. Provide cover for the Stock & Logistics Operator when required, including loading and unloading heavy goods vehicles, containers, and large deliveries. Assist with the day-to-day safe operation of the company's weighbridge. Complete Out Turn checks on Turnings prior to production use (training provided). Manage stock control, waste skips, and general material movements around site. Maintain yard areas using onsite equipment (training provided). Operate forklifts and heavy plant machinery safely (training provided where necessary). Take responsibility for your own health and safety and promote safe working practices. Uphold high standards of housekeeping across warehouse and outdoor areas using 5S principles. Support other departments as needed and undertake general ad hoc duties.

Skills & Experience



Strong attention to detail with excellent organisational skills. Experience with weighbridge systems and/or metals preferred - full training provided. Previous experience in stock movement or logistics operations desirable. Confident loading and unloading vehicles. Forklift driving experience is

essential

; a valid licence is preferred but not required (training provided). Good computer literacy and strong communication skills. Positive, can-do attitude with a proactive approach to problem-solving. Able to prioritise tasks, work to deadlines, and stay motivated under pressure. Reliable, trustworthy, and eager to learn new skills to support the wider business.

Pay: 26,200.00 per year
