Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and efficient Stocker to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring that our shelves are well-stocked and organised, contributing to an excellent shopping experience for our customers. This position requires strong time management skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

Receive and unpack merchandise, ensuring all items are accurately checked against delivery notes. Organise stock on shelves in a neat and accessible manner, following company guidelines for product placement. Monitor inventory levels and report any discrepancies or low stock situations to management. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the stockroom and sales floor. Assist customers with queries regarding product locations or availability, providing excellent customer service at all times. Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient stock replenishment during peak hours. Utilise time management skills to prioritise tasks effectively throughout the shift.

Experience

Previous experience in a retail or stock management role is preferred but not essential. Familiarity with administrative tasks related to inventory management is advantageous. Proficiency in using Adobe software, particularly Adobe Illustrator, is a plus for visual merchandising tasks. Multilingual abilities are beneficial for enhancing customer interactions in diverse communities. Demonstrated leadership qualities through previous supervisory roles will be considered an asset. Strong organisational skills are essential for maintaining an orderly stock environment.
