We are now looking for a Stock Supervisor to join our team at our Contract Logistics site based in Leicester. The role is an exciting opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment within a rapidly growing business and sector. The role involves making sure we reach customer expectations by ensuring operational targets are met.

The main role of the Stock Supervisor is to organize and monitor inventory levels to maximize efficiency. The stock manager must demonstrate skills, such as reporting and data analysis and organizational planning. This position is instrumental to the distribution of products in retail chains, and many stock managers assist with the training of employees to ensure a smooth process, keep a balanced stock level and look after the contractual KPI's. The stock manager may schedule employee shifts to suit the operation and customer demand.

Client facing Coordinates daily activity with the Operations Manager Supervises and directs work executing activities including but not limited to - order fulfilment, outbound, inbound and value add activity Communicates and reacts quickly and effectively regarding unexpected stock/operational issues Manages labour hours and electronic time keeping systems, procedures and processes updated Interviews and trains prospective new team members; completes appraisals Ensures all subordinate staff understand performance targets and KPI and clearly outlines what is expected Deals with claims in a timely manner and addresses internal and external stakeholder needs promptly Drive innovation and recommend process improvement Review records to ensure accuracy and compliance - SOX Forms, Cycle Count paperwork, investigation forms Comply with all company policies and procedures Completes RCAs to establish reasons for discrepancies and suggests mitigating or preventative measures Monitors and ensures KPI's are met in a timely and cost-effective manner Assigns duties to subordinate staff and monitors for neatness and conformance to standards set out in SOP's and work according to the SOX Compliance Prepares reports for leadership - KPI reports, space efficiency, SNAPSHOT Assists in maintaining physical properties, promotes and ensures a clean and safe work environment Promotes the company in a positive and ethical manner Carry out any reasonable request

Skills and Qualifications:



Logistics knowledge (Inbound, Outbound and VAS) Experience in producing daily/ weekly/ monthly reports SAP Knowledge - Intermediate/Advance level Ability to use Microsoft Office and Excel; required level: EXPERT Experience in the logistics industry Inventory/ Stock background Ability to delegate Ability to manage a team Ability to work under pressure during peak season Ability to effectively communicate via telephone and email Ability to build and maintain positive working relationship at all levels of staff

Package Details:



Salary: 33114 Monday-Friday Company Pension Scheme. 20 Days Annual Leave Per Annum + Bank Holidays, increasing with length of service.
The working hours for this role are Monday-Friday, 08:30 to 17:00, flexible around business requirements; based at our Leicester Site.
