Job Description

Objective:

A part-time position within our storeroom. To work alongside the stockroom manager handling the goods received and goods despatched. Up to 20 hours per week, negotiable working pattern.

Location:

The role will be based at our Topsham store, opposite Darts Farm

Key Tasks



To receive and check goods inwards and outbound.

To maintain a clear, clean and tidy goods inwards area and storeroom.

Helping our online and retail team to provide a high level of service at all times

Coordinate with our customers and suppliers in a timely manner.

Specific Tasks



Goods Inwards



Accept and accurately check delivered goods ensuring they correspond with our purchase order.

Book in deliveries and cross reference with our CRM system

In case of shortages or breakages liaise with our supplier and resolve in a quick and professional manner. Manage online sales returns ensuring breakages or unwanted items are processed in a timely manner. All transactions should be accurately recorded on our CRM system.

Stock and Display and Tidiness



Carry out regular and planned stock checks.

All stock and online orders to be kept in a tidy and accessible location.

Support the retail store with the assembly of showroom fittings.

Showroom Collections



Contact customers advising goods are ready to collect and assist with loading when appropriate

Outbound Deliveries



Prepare goods ready for despatch to our customers by repackaging where necessary. Record goods that are ready for despatch in the courier's online system so they can be collected. Maintain our packing and recycle material where possible.

Returns



Arrange the return of faulty goods by working with the supplier. Ensure goods are returned in a timely manner.

Key Skill Requirements



Have at least 2 years' experience within a stock control environment You should be computer literate and have a good numeric skill Effective, honest, and open communicator A positive mindset and can-do attitude to your work and life in general Display a positive mindset with an active self-learning approach A flexible approach to working hours, including weekend work and Bank Holidays Thrive within a busy and dynamic environment
