As we continue to grow, we are looking for a detail-oriented and accurate individual to join our team as an Stone Hand Finisher.

Job Summary

We are seeking a meticulous individual with a keen eye for detail. This role involves hand polishing stone components to a standard which ensures we supply completed worksurfaces which delight our customers, using accurate drawings from templates for our stone fabrication and installation projects. If you are eager to learn, and are committed to delivering quality work, we are ready to provide the necessary training to help you succeed in this role.

Qualifications

A strong attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy. Basic proficiency in English and Maths (written and verbal) to interpret technical documents and job instructions. Good communication skills, with the ability to interact professionally with clients and team members. A proactive and solution-oriented approach to problem-solving. Able to commute to a remote location with no public transport links Proficient in using sanders and angle grinders Be physically fit (as heavy lifting may be required)

Responsibilities

Detailed finishing of stone products using sanders and angle grinders

Day to day maintenance of tooling

Quality checking finished pieces

Loading of finished pieces onto stillages

Cleaning working area

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: 12.40-13.00 per hour

Experience:

Polishing: 1 year (preferred)
Work Location: In person
