Natural Stone Surfaces are a leading manufacturer of stone worktops, based in Chapel en le Frith and covering the whole of the UK. Due to continued growth, we are looking to recruit a production operative for our busy workshop at our Buckley site.
Hours of work - 43 hours per week excluding breaks
Opportunity to progress through a pay structure relating to skill set, aiming for multi-skilled operatives ultimately. Rate progression is ultimately up to 15.17/hour.
:
. Operating tools and machinery to polish and finish various stone materials in line with job specifications;
Operating machinery to cut various stone materials in line with job specifications;
Working within a team to ensure work is completed within agreed timescale;
Adhering to company quality and safety standards;
Requires some heavy lifting and working in full PPE in wet conditions;
Involves standing for long periods of time;
Able to work to drawing specifications;
Be quality aware;
Have an attention to detail;
Use of lifting equipment;
Use of an overhead crane;
Be responsible for 5S in the workplace;
Full Training will be given in the use of all machinery.
