Job Description
Precision Stone are a leading manufacturer of stone worktops. Our Head Office is based in Chapel en le Frith and covering the whole of the UK. Due to continued growth, we are looking to recruit a production operative for our busy workshop in Wolverhampton
Hours of work - 40 hours per week excluding breaks with 2 hours mandatory overtime as and when the business requires.
Opportunity to progress through a pay structure relating to skill set, aiming for multi-skilled operatives ultimately.
:
. Operating tools and machinery to polish and finish various stone materials in line with job specifications;
Operating machinery to cut various stone materials in line with job specifications;
Working within a team to ensure work is completed within agreed timescale;
Adhering to company quality and safety standards;
Requires some heavy lifting and working in full PPE in wet conditions;
Involves standing for long periods of time;
Able to work to drawing specifications;
Be quality aware;
Have an attention to detail;
Use of lifting equipment;
Use of an overhead crane;
Be responsible for 5S in the workplace;
Full Training will be given in the use of all machinery.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
