Job Description

We require a Stonemason to join our team for ongoing projects; this position is on a self-employed bases throughout West Central Scotland. The ideal candidate will have a good all-round ability and knowledge as we carryout projects that range from conservation and restoration works on listed buildings, renovation and remodelling of existing buildings to new build projects.

The ideal candidate should be able to

Cut, shape and dress stone

Proficiently build stone and lay brick/block as required

A good knowledge of working with lime mortars

Repair existing buildings with indents and create slapping's etc

Be able to read and understand drawings

Have the ability to lay flagstone.

Must hold a valid driving licence and have their own transport to site.

Pay negotiable dependant on experience and ability 18.00 to 25.00 per hour the working week varies dependant on project from 40 to 55 hours per week.
