Job Description

This company is a specialist conservation contractor working on historic buildings and ancient ruins across the North West & Wales. They are seeking two experienced Stonemason's Labourers to join their team of skilled craftsmen and conservators.

This role will include assisting the masonry conservation team with their varied work on site. You will be skilled in mixing mortars, raking out old mortar, mortar pointing, handling stone, helping to fix stonework, and prepared to turn your hand to whatever each individual project requires. You will have plenty of initiative and an ability to think ahead and plan your work, but most of all you will be punctual and reliable.

The role is site based and you will be expected to travel to project locations. You must have a current CSCS card and a driving licence valid in the UK. Full role and project specific safety training will be provided. Opportunities for further vocational (NVQ) training may be made available as part of this role.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: 13.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
